Birthday Butterflies

I created this card for my sister-in-law's birthday.  My first foray into making pop-out cards, and I'll be honest, I was very pleased with my results.  I kept the cover of this card simple as the main attraction of the card is the detail inside when you open it.
It was a bit fiddly to make...and thanks to the bf for helping to cut out some of the pieces...but worth it for the end result.

And again...
The quality of the photos isn't great as I was in a rush to post the card-it took a little longer to dry that I had expected...so it turned out to be a belated birthday card.

More Christmas Cards...

Forgot that I also made these cards-really need to start saving my photos in the one location it would make this much easier!

Reindeer (cream)
I'm hopefully going to start making cards for Christmas this year over the Easter holiday period so watch this space...

Ok, while I'm on a roll, I thought I would post some Christmas Cards that I made a couple of years ago.  Let me know what you think!

I know...totally out of season but I don't have any other photos at the moment and I'm itching to get started.

New Beginnings...

Ok, so I'm fairly new to this blogging malarky and probably will take a while to get it right-but then no-one will probably be reading it in the beginning anyway.
The reasoning behind this blog is that I love making cards and doing craft based things generally and want a place to show them off.  I would love to be able to sell some of my cards one day (my dream is to own a cake and card shop-however that is probably out of reach).
I also have other hobbies such as geocaching, football and I'm currently training for a triathlon so hopefully I'll have plenty to write about.
Would be great to receive any comments about my cards (or in general).
